Hiriya slams nine past a weak K.Gulhee side in today’s evening fixture.

In the ongoing Mamen Inter School Football Tournament , the purple side came with a win from their last last game against Kalaafaanu. Meanwhile Gulhee came with a loss against Dharumavantha. The first half was pretty casual and good football by both sides and the two goals of the half came in at the 15^th and 25^th minutes by Captain Aiham Hamdhoon and Ismail Ikan of Hiriya respectively.

However the second half started with pure dominance from Hiriya from the beginning. Mohamed Adhyan Niyaz opens the scoring of the second half in the 42^nd minute. Seven minutes later Aiham Hamdhoon is on the score sheet making it 4-0. Ismail Ikan finds the back of the net again in the 57^th minute and it’s followed up by the completion of Mohamed Adhyan Niyaz’s brace. Then Ahin Hussain Naeem nets the 7^th goal of the game in the 63^rd minute and seven minutes later in the last minute of normal time Ismail Ikan Bin Ali completes his hat-trick. And a minute later Aiham Hamdhoon completes his hat-trick.

This win for Hiriya means they are now through to the Quarter final after knocking out Gulhee School from the tournament with a game in hand. Hiriya will play their last group stage match to Dharumavantha, whom aslo has scured a place in the quarter final stage. This fxiture result will decide the 1st and 2nd in the group table ranking.

This year's Inter School Football Tournament matches is held at national football stadium. Entrance is free for all the spectators.
