The evening game today was a game that was looked forward to as the previous game ended in favour of Imaduddin. Both teams started the game pretty well with a balanced play from both sides. The first half saw its only goal in the form of an Ubaidhulla Ibrahim strike in the 30^th minute. Much to discuss in the dressing room for Ghiyaasuddin due to that late goal conceded. The second half started in a much more positive spirit by Ghiyaasuddin and as a result they were rewarded with the first spot kick of this year’s tournament. Ahmed Alaau Shamin nets the penalty four minutes into the second half to draw level with Rehendhi. But Rehendhi wasn’t done just yet. Ten minutes later Mohamed Dhalf Shamoon ripples the Ghiyaasuddin net as they snatched the lead back. And in the dying moments of the game, Adam Shiyam Mohamed nets the winner in style.

Much to look forward to in group D as Rehendhi now leads the group with a 1 goal difference to Imaduddin. This surely mounts more pressure on the powerhouses in the group who despite a competitive game got away with only 1 goal.

Tomorrow’s first game will be between the Hulhumale’ sides Ghaazee and Huravee to be followed by the game between Thaajuddin and Jamaluddin.
