Maldives coaches meet Japanese Football Association President Kozo Tashima.

Maldivian coaches Ahmed Nashid(Naadhu), Muaviyath Ilham, Ibrahim Shafiu(Saakko) and Fareed Mohamed(Farittey) who are in Japan on a ten day training course met with Kozo Tashima yesterday. Among others the coaches also met with Eiji Kawashima, the former Japanese goalkeeper. Kozo Tashima is former Japanese national player turned president of the Association.

The four coaches were invited by the Japanese Football Association. The four coaches were nominated by respective academies. Maldives Soccer-Mates nominated Naadhu, BG Sports Academy nominated Ilham Muaviyath, Maziya nominated Saakko while TC Sports sent Farittey. All coaches are required to have AFC B-License. Naadhu and Muaviyath Ilham hold the A-License while Saakko and Farittey hold the B-License.
