Maldives International Ahmed Imaz(Aako) has thanked Maziya after parting ways.

Young but experienced forward joined the Green Boys from Club Eagles four years ago. In his time at Maziya Aako won the Premier League with the Green Boys. Part of the National team for a long time, Aako won Gold medal in the SAFF Suzuki Cup of 2018.

"Thanking the management and ex colleagues of Maziya sports and recreation for the past 4 years of experience and great journey. Very thankful for the trust and support you gave me. Wishing Maziya more success ahead" Aako posted on his Facebook page.

The speedster is expected to join the newly promoted Da Grande according to sources close to the player. Aako's former team-mate at Maziya and Eagles, including the Eagles under 21 squad, Yashadh Habeeb(Mulakey) is also expected to join Da Grande.
