Victory President Ibrahim Nashid praised the clubs effort in the Youth Under 21 Championship and signs from them players to the senior team.

On Victory's official Facebook page Nashid praised the players and said that they did better than what was expected of them. Although Victory did not go through to the semi-finals, the Reds ended the campaign with three draws. They drew 1-1 with group leaders TC Sports, and two 0-0 draws with Da Grande and Foakaidhoo FC.

"Welldone and thank you all. We actually have surpassed our target for this tournament. I think we did much better than everybody expected. However, we should not rest or stop here. We have to work hard to get a competetive team out in June. I feel we are just warming up nicely. As in a marathon, now we just have to focus on the finish, believe in ourseleves and keep the pace and plan. I believe we have a management team now that can assemble a team to give a fight. Let’s do it" Victory President Nashid posted.

Victory today announced they have signed for players from the youth championship team including Mohamed Wigam, Mohamed Zaul and the impressive goalkeeper Maahy Abdulla. More signings are expected to follow.
