Fooakaidhoo is the first to be out of the Youth Championship this year.

After last evening's game against Da Grande Sports Club in which they lost two goals to nil, it wass confirmed that Foakaidhoo is headed out of the championship. thats two losses in a row for them in the four-team group A. Ahmed Husaam opened the scoring for the match early at 11 minutes and the match continued with high intensity football from both sides. Foakaidhoo was playing hard to atleast get a point and their hopes and effort led them to lead a good attack against Da Grande SC in the 91st minute. The attack was broken down and quickly turned into a speedy Da Grande counter counter attack from the left flank. The through ball into the area was finished gracefully with a chip over the Foakaidhoo keeper by Ahmed Husaam in the 92nd minute breaking the hopes and dreams of the Foakaidhoo youth team.

Foakaidhoo previously lost the match against TC after initially leading two nil to the eventual winners of that game. That game ended 3-2 in favour of TC.

After Foakaidhoo's loss against Da grande the table is now lead by Da Grande with 4 points with Victory against TC to follow in the night.
