The hectic game yesterday Foakaidhoo and TC proved to be a great and entertaining start for the youth championship this year.

Foakaidhoo took lead at the fourth minute through Hassan Nazeem Gasim (Choatu) and dominated the match until their goalkeeper sent off at twenty minutes. Foakaidhoo pushed on and scored a second goal to make it 2-0 through Choatu again, this time from a penalty.

The wind went against Foakaidhoo's sails again when the referee awarded TC a controversial penalty. TC made it 2-1 through Mohamed Zihan Hussain. Two minutes later man of the match Mohamed Jumam Ahmed equalized for TC giving them hope of getting those important 3 points. And they completed an amazing comeback as Jumam broke Foakaidhoo hearts in the 86th minutes scoring the winner from excellent counter attack.
