There has been recent rumours that Ibrahim Mahudhee Hassan (Feydhoo Ibbe) is linked with a transfer to Maziya. According to a Maziya Official who gave Boalha this is confirmed although the deal is not yet completely through.

A year later he joined TC Sports Club and won the award given to the best player in the country and later showed an absolutely outstanding performance in Sheikh Kamal Cup held in 2015 which TC Sports Club won. Similar brilliant performances by him were rewarded with the call up for the national side and gave an absolutely amazing performance in the final of the 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup which Maldives won, scoring in the 19th minute.

Founded in 1996, Maziya Sports and Recreation Club was promoted to first division of the Maldivian football divisions in 2006. Eversince then they have 8 titles to their name with the most recent being Male’ League champions in 2017. Maziya ended last season 2nd placed in the Dhivehi Premier League after New Radiant held them to a four all draw in their last game, which won TC Sports Club the title with a game in hand. Former teammate of Feydhoo Ibbe, Hassan Naiz (Dhaadhu) joined Maziya in 2018 and helped the club secure the second position in the league.

The new season is to kick-off this June after FAM held a discussion with the clubs for a new format to be used in the Premier League with the majority of the clubs approving it.
