Football Association of Maldives has announced goal keeper certificate coaching course. It is locally approved certificate course for all the interested candidates, including all the current active goal keepers and for all those officials those who are currently working as a goal keeper trainer.

This is the first ever goal keeping coaching course to be held by FAM. The course will be held from this January 20^th to 24^th, for four days. An assigned course instructor will be accompanied by a goal keeper coaching course instructor from Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will be providing the lessons for the participants during the course period.

15^th January is due date for all the interested candidates to apply for the course. Application form for the course is available from FAM and also available to download from the download link. (link is below)

It is a brilliant opportunity for all the interest goal keepers to take part in the course be a locally certified goal keeper coach, in case in the future if the player wishes to act as a goal keeper trainer. On the other hand, as there are numbers of officials working as a goal keeper trainer or goal keeper coach without a certificate or a license for it.

After commencing their visionary long-term football developing project, the “Towards Future” project, FAM has been very active in the area of coaching education. Noticeably in the last quarter of 2018, FAM has successfully completed an AFC “A” and two AFC “C” license coaching course with a FAM local instructor course also.
