The legends, Michel Salgado and Peter Schmeichel has met players from football academies in Male'. 

An event held today evening in Dhiraagu Head Office, "Meet up with legends" was a very exciting evening as the future stars of Maldives football got the chance to meet the legends of two of the biggest club in the World, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Salgado and Schmeichel shared their mutual story, possibly the most "wanted to hear" story of the kids, the tales of Cristiano Ronaldo. As both legends had the fortune to spend several years playing along with Ronaldo, both shared about their times with Ronaldo.

Moreover these young players were told moral and motivational things that has happened in these legends life, during their football career, which the players was keen to listen. How they sacrificed things to achieve their dreams. What it takes to be a great footballer. And how to be a discipline player,more and more.

Later the players were given chance to take photos with both legends and collect autographs too.

Players from Eagles Football Academy, Maziya Academy, Early Touch Football Academy, Maldives Soccer Mates, TC Football Academy, BG Sports Academy participated in the event along with Maldives national under 16 and under 14 teams boys and under 14 national teams girls.

It is once in a life time opportunity for these rising players to meet these legends, whom these players takes as idols and in the future dreams to be like them. This was a successful event by Dhiraagu in corporation with Maldives Football.com and Football Association of Maldives.

Salgado and Schmeichel is here in Male' for the recently concluded Maldives Football Awards 2018 and yet they are to be playing tonight in the official retirement match of Maldives number#1 goal keeper, the legend, Imran Mohamed.
