Ahmed Mauroof(Maattey) confirms interest in Victory role. 

Maattey confirms on his Facebook page that he is contesting for a position in the Victory Sports Club board. Maattey's message to Victory supporters is very encouraging. 

"If I’m elected to serve for the club, I assure all the supporters and members that I will be working with you diligently and honestly to strengthen the club, bringing back it’s lost fame and glory. Victory Sports Club is a brand and a club that has achieved immense success and recognition in the past. Let’s all join hands together to revive its lost pride and make VICTORY SC the most Talk Of The Town name again." wrote Maattey on his Facebook page.

As we reported as rumour few days ago, Maattey is contesting for the position of Vice President of Victory Sports Club. Maattey also tagged New Radiant Sports Club coach Sobah Mohamed in his post. 

Maattey is one of Maldives most successful coaches in history. Former National goalkeeper has always advocated for better management of clubs. Maattey has always spoken of the need to market football properly to win back the support that Maldives football enjoyed, in Maattey's peak as a player.
