FAM announces D-License Instructor Course.

The course scheduled from 18th to 20th of December will be conducted in Male' by Coach Instructor Mohamed Shazly, the Head of Coach Education Department. Those interested are required to fill the application form and submit it by the 13th of December 2018. Applicant's are required to have minimum AFC B-certificate to participate.

After completing the course, Instructor's will be qualified to issue the FAM D-License. D-License course are a three day beginner courses for new coaches. Mostly based on basic techniques of football, D-License will be essential for those who want to further their careers in Football Coaching. Unlike the C-License course which is two weeks long, the D-License course only takes three days. Also known as Level 1 Coaching course in some countries, D-License could become a prerequisite to C-License course.

Those who pass the FAM D-License Instructor Course can apply to be AFC-C License Instructors.

Previously FAM conducted this course, but was cancelled due to change of administration. The current administration under Bassam Adheel Jalil has given a lot of importance to coach education. In addition to the D-License instructor course, the FAM has conducted important courses like the AFC A-License course, AFC-B License course and so on.
