Top Goalkeepers Support Victory Goalkeeper Ammadey After Debut

Maldives top goalkeepers have posted words of encouragement for Victory Sports Club debutant Ahmed Mohamed(Ammadey).

Victory Sports Club debutant conceded three goals against the in-form Maziya. Ammadey long time Victory servant did a job when finally called upon to fill in for the more experienced Mohamed Imran(Kuda Imma). In his third year with the club, the former Eagles trainee posted his disappointment on Facebook. 

His former trainer, the National team goalkeeper coach Aslam Abduraheem said "No mistakes no wisdom, mistakes is the key element to become a top goalkeeper".

Former Maldives and Victory goalkeeper Mauroof Ahmed(Maattey) also posted his support for Victory's new custodian. "Mistakes are inevitable in your life! We all make mistakes! Learning lessons from your mistakes are the key to your success! Build your future from those lessons!" Maattey, one of the most successful coaches in the country commented on Ammadey's post.

"That’s why some don’t want to be a goalkeeper. Keep it up. Learn from mistakes and try not to repeat the same mistake. Thats it" Imran Mohamed(Imma), the legendary goalkeeper encouraged Ammadey. The former Maldives International is Maldives best ever goalkeeper to most people. Victory's goalkeeper trainer, former Victory and Valencia goalkeeper Hassan Rasheed Ali(seen encouraging Ammadey in the photo) posted "Even a good KING can make a mistake but if he repeats it, it’s careless KING. Ammadey keep learning from good leaders like Imran Mohamed" Ammadey's current trainer added to Imma's comment.

Though Ammadey posted his disappointment on Facebook, he did have some memorable moments making excellent saves to deny Green Boys chances. Yesterday not only did we see Ahmed Mohamed making his debut, Foakaidhoo also replaced their Pakistani goalkeeper Saqib Hanif with Maldivian goalkeeper Mohamed Shifan. Saqib Hanif left Foakaidhoo after his deal expired to participate in the Pakistani league. Shifan stepped in though he conceded against the impressive Eagles, he did make good saves after shocking defending by Foakaidhoo.
